Ingredients -
2 1/4 C All-purpose Flour
1/4 C Granulated Sugar
1 Tblspn Baking Powder'
3/4 Tspn Salt
2 C Milk
1/2 C Unsalted Butter, Melted
2 Lg Eggs
2 Tspns Vanilla Extract
Instructions -
1. Preheat the waffle iron.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs and vanilla. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir together just until combined.
3. Grease the hot waffle iron with butter or cooking spray. Add about 1/3 C of the batter for each waffle to the hot waffle iron (the amount will depend on the size of your waffle maker so feel free to experiment with how much you add)
4. Cook until golden brown. Place on a wire rack until ready to serve so they stay crisp. Serve hot with maple syrup and butter or your favorite toppings.
